South Africa remains a sought-after destination, with a variety of species available, including dangerous, plains game and specialty options. The Limpopo region is renowned for its quality plains game trophies, making it the perfect safari destination for this hunt!
The Safari Includes:
These species provide a challenge to hunters, requiring them to change their hunting methods and techniques when harvesting these trophies. The majestic Sable is known to “play dead” and then attack its predators with its long, curved horns, the Impala is deceptively swift and alert, while the Warthog appears and disappears in seconds and is often an opportunistic hunting trophy.
While there are three classic African plains game trophies on this hunt, should you be interested in adding additional species, see the table below for trophy fees:

If you want an authentic African hunt with some premier trophies, then African plains game hunting in South Africa is the way to go! This outfitter is based in the heart of South Africa’s hunting capital, the Limpopo province.
The concession boasts a wealth of plains game and is an ideal spot for both hunters and non-hunting parties to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. From traditional African hunts, game drives, and bird watching to fishing and poolside lounging, this outfitter offers the ideal backdrop for an idyllic African safari.
Traveling to Limpopo, SA
Hunters will fly into OR Tambo International Airport, in Johannesburg. The Outfitter will meet you at the airport, after which a 3-hour road transfer will have you arriving at the Limpopo concession.
For hunters bringing in their own rifles, they must complete a SAPS 520 application upon entry into the country.
The Hunting Grounds
One of South Africa’s nine provinces, the Limpopo province is often seen as the country’s hunting capital, home to exceptional trophies, plentiful game, and differing landscapes, all calling for varied hunting techniques and approaches.
As part of the Springbok Flats, these hunting grounds consist of a combination of mixed grasslands, bushveld, and grassland.
The 3266-acre concession has several dams that attract wildlife to the area. The vegetation consists of dense thickets and open spaces. This challenges hunters to be skilled in walk-and-stalk techniques, as visibility can be difficult in dense bushveld areas.
Accommodation & Lodging
This accommodation allows hunters to set into Africa, with guests staying in rondavels or traditional round African huts. There are three rondavels, each with en-suite bathroom, sleeping up to four people per hut. Each rondavel enjoys its own private patio, perfect for game viewing or enjoying a sundowner in the tranquil bush setting.
Guests can enjoy this tranquil accommodation option, set in the middle of the African bush, offering spacious entertainment areas, braai (BBQ), and dining areas. For guests wanting to cool off, the swimming pool, in the entertainment area, is surrounded by a shady lapa and wild bush, and is the perfect spot to unwind after a day’s hunting.
For non-hunters, there is a wide variety of activities to enjoy, including game drives (day and night), game walks, bird watching, and fishing in one of the dams. Other activities can also be arranged at a fee.
