Traveling to the Limpopo Province

Hunters will fly into OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The Outfitter will meet you at the airport, after which a 3-hour road transfer will have you arriving at the Limpopo concession.

For hunters bringing in their own rifles, they must complete a SAPS 520 application upon entry into the country.

The Hunting Grounds

As part of the Springbok Flats, these hunting grounds consist of a combination of mixed grasslands, bushveld, and grassland.

The 3266-acre concession has several dams that attract wildlife to the area. The vegetation consists of dense thickets and open spaces. This challenges hunters to be skilled in walk-and-stalk techniques, as visibility can be difficult in dense bushveld areas.

Accommodation & Lodging

This accommodation allows hunters to really feel that they are home in Africa, offering traditional round African huts, or rondavels as the accommodation option on the reserve. There are three rondavels that each carry an African theme throughout with their décor. The rondavels have an en-suite bathroom and can sleep up to four people per hut. The rondavels each enjoy their own private patio, perfect for game viewing or enjoying a sundowner in the tranquil bush setting.

Guests can enjoy this tranquil accommodation option, set in the middle of the African bush, offering spacious entertainment areas, braai (BBQ), and dining areas. For guests wanting to cool off, the swimming pool, in the entertainment area, is surrounded by a shady lapa and wild bush, and is the perfect spot to unwind after a day’s hunting.

For non-hunters, there is a wide variety of activities to enjoy, including game drives (day and night), game walks, bird watching, and fishing in one of the dams. Other activities can also be arranged at a fee.

Africa’s dangerous game isn’t just hunted, it’s earned. Let Game Hunting Safaris build your personalised experience to take on these legendary species with precision and purpose.
